तंदूरी पनीर (Paneer Tandoori) is a tasty and popular Indian dish prepared with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a tawa or pan rather than a tandoor or oven . These Paneer Tandoori are quite easy to prepare; simply combine the ingredients and cook!
Here's a basic Ingredients for Paneer Tandoori:
- 200 grams of paneer, cut into cubes
- 4 spoons thick yogurt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1.5 tablespoon tandoori masala powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 spoon mustard oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small capsicum
- 2 tablespoons oil
Process:-
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, tandoori masala, ginger-garlic paste & Salt.
- Add paneer, capsicum & onion cubes to the marinade and gently toss until the paneer is well coated.
- Add mustard oil. Let it marinate for at least 1-2 hours.
- Add oil to the pan. Place the marinated paneer cubes.
- Cook the paneer cubes for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and slightly charred.
- After one-sided cooked then add onion and capsicum cubes.
- Fry 4 mins.
- Once the paneer is cooked, remove it from the tawa and place it on a serving plate.
- Enjoy your delicious Paneer Tandoori cooked on a tawa as a starter or with some naan or rice as a main course.
